Daisy Cuff

Product Code:
Safety Chain 790385
This is my first safety chain. The detailing of the  flower is so pretty. Aside of getting this because its a MUST to have this to ensure that I do not have less chance of losing a bead when i unclasp my bracelet, I also thought this serves as a reminder of not letting go of who I am inspite the wonderful things that is happening to my life now. To stay humble & keep my feet grounded.

A toast to life!!!

Star World Clip

Okey, I just made that name up. This is what they refer to as the 'Pandora Star Clip'. I truly find this cute but this is not the reason why I have this clip. I view each of the star like the star of the night. For me, this symbolizes as a dream or a wish. Having this clip doesn't mean that I have all my wishes & dreams come true already, would have been cool if its really like that. Rather, that you do not stop letting go of them just because they look impossible. When I met my boyfriend, now husband, at the internet 5 years ago, I would tell myself that it is impossible for us to be together since we are living on the opposite side of the world. I am glad that I am wrong & truly, I am happy right now.

Cheers to you and your love ones!

Oxidized Sterling Silver Studded Clip

Among the clips available at the present, this one in particular has caught my attention. It was what I would describe as the rocker clip. The studded design give it a rough edge look, don't you think? But like all the charms I have, this one is no exception in having its own meaning in my world. This clip will remind me that I survive a 5 years Long Distance Relationship with my guy. The world is an odd place to live in & yet: small & beautiful. I agree with the sayings: "Don't measure the distance but measure the Love".

Keep loving everyone!

Dragon Charm (2012)

Product Cide: 790878
I truly believe that the year 2012 is such an exciting year for me. I expect to have many turning points in my life & I wanted to celebrate it with this Dragon Charm. Under the Chinese Calendar & horoscope, this 2012 is the year of the Water Dragon. The Dragon is the only important animal out of the several animals of the Chinese horoscope.  A lot of believers expect a good year ahead. I, myself, included.

view at the back
It was after 2 months that I brought this one that I learnt about a Chinese New Year Charm. It is much a serious looking charm compare to this that look cartoon-ish. The Chinese New Year charms are only available in Asia & was just recently released. A lot did try to get theirs but not all got lucky. Soon enough, it was out-of-stock in most Asian countries. But nevertheless, I never regret getting this charm.  I somehow felt there is a certain appeal to this that matches my young-of-heart personality.

Have a good Dragon year ahead of you!!!

Four Leaf Clover

Product Code: 790157

The Four Leaf Clover is such a beautiful charm. I brought this charm a day before my visit to the German Embassy for my interview & application for a spousal visa (also known as the family visa).  For me, this symbolizes luck as well. My visit to the embassy was successful, & yes, very happy to have this charm to remind me of that day.

Cheers!

Pineapple Charm

Product code: 790363
Pineapple, when translated to Fookien (a native Chinese dialect often used by the Filipino-Chinese community in the Philippines which originated from the Fu jian province, China), is read as "ong lai". This simply means "wealth is coming". With this, pineapples become a popular traditional feng shui symbol of wealth, prosperity, and fortune. However, it was not for this exact reason why I brought this home with me.

side view
You see, the family business which my parents pioneered carries a logo of a pineapple. We still use the said logo up to now. This is reason #1.  Owning this would simply remind me of my family specifically my parents. I brought this charm during my trip to Singapore last Christmas 2011 (it was my first time to visit there too). This is my other reason.

I have one more reason: for the longest time my mom would give me a money gift. So, I can buy what I really want or need. So yeah, guess what I brought? hehe. Indeed, this charm is such a treat to me. Thanks mom!!!

Have a Happy week ahead of you!

Heart Charm

Product code: 790137
It's the Heart Month of the Year, & since Valentine's day is just around the corner, one can guess that a Heart charm will be seen here. Well, correct on the part of the Heart but not with the reason. I am the type of person who do not celebrate other occasions  than Birthday & Christmas. Though there is a big possibility that this might change & since I started to charmed in my stories, I have been seeking for moments to celebrate. haha!

So anyway, here is a simple heart charm (Pandora have several heart charms to choose from). This symbolizes the strong love between me & my husband. My husband & I have survived a 5 years Long Distance Relationship. We met through an online game (we were in the same guild) & just recently married in the mid November of 2011. I am currently on the process of getting my visa so we no longer need to be apart anymore. Long Distance Relationship is not really for everyone. It is very difficult but is worth it when it works. Sending a salute to the other couples out there who have survived LDR themselves!

Have a Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Cheers!!!!

Gift Charm

Product code: 790300
My husband & I were very happy for receiving all kinds of support from both side of the family before & after the wedding day. To represent & celebrate this significant part of our lives, we both decided to get me the gift charm.

The detail of the charm is simply gorgeous. I specifically love the tiny ribbon located on top of the box. I have to apologize though & it seem my pictures do not give justice to the charm. I honestly believe that the charm looks way better in person. Hope you like it too!

Wishing everyone a good weekend!

Infinity Curl Bead

Okey, okey! You got me!!! I just made up that name for the bead. The things is, Pandora have branches all over the world, so instead of giving each of the beads a name on their catalog -- you see product codes in their place. To which I believe is more universal.

Product code: 790228
So, this is my first charm. It was handpicked by my husband as a wedding gift from a Pandora store in Germany. He explained that he wanted a bead that would remind me of our wedding location which is the beach. Maybe a dozen of charm designs will start popping in your head right now to represent the beach... so why pick this one?

The swirls on the bead represent the waves of the beach. The same swirls matches our wedding rings which have a Celtic inspired carving all over it. The rings are not from Pandora by the way.And so far, I find the concept very good & whenever I look at the charm, I remember not only the happiness when I got this one... not only the wedding location but also what transpired the whole week during those times.

So yes, I thought this is a wonderful Pandora first time experience for me.

Cheers everyone!

My First Pandora & Catalog Cover Pages

My first Pandora bracelet & charm was a wedding gift to me by my husband. After seeing it, I told him that I wanted to fill it up with our adventure together. After all, this is what Pandora bracelet is all about: create your story with every beautiful hand-finished and genuine beads. The result is no less but a uniquely YOU bracelet.
Barrel clasp bracelet

The idea here is to fill up the bracelet as a special moment comes your way. With this, I started to look forward for major turns and curves in my life... I thought those will be perfect excuses to get new charms. haha! True, nothing beats getting them as presents from your love ones.

To get started, I believe the best way to get inspired or to realize what theme or materials you really like to have, is to browse their catalog/brochures. Of course, you can search online for blogs or join groups/forum like what they have in Facebook to meet other Pandora lovers. For now, I will be leaving your brochure cover pages & I will update them as I get new ones in the near future.

Hope you like them too!

Cheers!

An Introduction

Hello, hello.

Based on my headers, I know that you thought I must be a Pandora jewelry fan... & yes, you are correct: I am. It have been a while since I have been curious of this company who originated from Denmark. I considered myself lucky like most Pandora fans out there & I got my very first bracelet and charm as gift. It was a wedding gift from my husband. While wearing it, I sometimes caught myself caressing each of the beads & looking at them lovingly -- on the same time, reminiscing beautiful memories just like in the commercials I saw online. It is truly a wonderful feeling that generates positive energy.

To make it clear: I believe that each beautiful detailed Pandora charm can be interpreted in many ways. With this, here are the things you need to know about this blog:

-- you will be reading my own interpretations on the Pandora beads I own, thus, sharing my charm-ing stories. I am NOT a representative of Pandora Jewelry NOR am I connected to the said company. I am NOT being paid to write this journal though it would be so cool if they do, don't you think?

-- this is NOT a review on the Pandora charms. I have NO intention to compare the charms to other competitor(s) & have NO intention to seek arguments of any kind related to this.

-- all the items you will see here are NOT for sale. I consider myself a Fan who is crazy enough to share the charms & the story behind each, but, I do NOT consider myself as an expert. Therefore, for any questions, suggestions or the likes regarding to the product or service rendered, kindly redirect yourselves to the official website of Pandora.

I am sharing my charm-ing stories out of happiness & joy but have NO intention to show off. If you are a Pandora fan yourself, you would know & understand that part of the fun of having a Pandora is sharing it with your family, friends & fellow Pandora fans. I experience this myself at the Pandora Facebook where  I am genuinely happy to see all the other people excited over their growing collections. However, if you think or felt otherwise, I will not  convince you  anymore nor am I going to waste your time ... I'm sorry but I will need to ask you to leave.

For the rest who are interested, note that some of the charms have no name description (just code from the brochures), so, don't be surprise if you caught me giving the charms names that you never heard of. It's a big possibility!  Hope you enjoy reading my online journal.

Cheers!!!
